Kasey is a published plus size model who's energy is larger than life. This wasn't her first boudoir session, but I know it was one she will remember. We both live in the Akron area, and when she walked up to my Cuyahoga Falls studio a few minutes late (I didn't mind, it gave me a chance to drink my coffee and get my game face on) she laughed and said, "I'd like to say I’m never late, but that would be a lie. This is just who I am as a person". It was an endearing ice breaker and we continued to laugh as we walked up the stairs to my studio space.
She brought so many gorgeous options with her that it took us a few minutes to narrow down what we would photograph her in. A few things she had shown me via email prior to her session hadn't caught my attention then, but in person I fell in love with a taupe floor length robe she brought with her. Seriously, Kasey, where is that thing from because I NEED IT.
We laughed SO MUCH. Me, at Kasey's hilarious commentary and silly nature, her at my attempts to not fall off my ladder and almost catching my pants on fire by standing over a candle (insert facepalm emoji here).
Moms are sexy. Bellies are sexy. All those things that make you, you, are fine as hell, I promise.
I look forward to the next time we get to work together. I loved her vibe, her fierce red hair and her out of this world smile. Seriously, look at her. She basically twinkles.
